The Power Ad Company hired two digital marketing specialists to help lead their brand new digital marketing division, starting immediately. Chris Nance, formerly a sports marketing and digital specialist for 97.1 The Fan, the Ohio State Buckeyes flagship radio network, and Tim Miller, a Cedarville University graduate who spent parts of his first six months with the company in both digital and sponsorship sales, will help head up the company’s efforts.

Chris started his career in The Ohio State University Athletics Department managing high-profile events like men’s basketball games and large concerts. Chris transitioned into the media/advertising industry, joining 97.1 The Fan in 2013. He specialized in multi-media advertising, specifically in the digital space.

For over seven years, Chris helped his clients achieve continued success using a multitude of both linear and digital marketing strategies by learning how their individual organizations operate. He quickly learned through building relationships with his clients and partners that trust is the key in the ever-changing advertising world.

He is excited to be a part of starting what is going to be a great asset for Power Ad Company’s sponsors as they continue to grow.

Chris hails from Pickerington, Ohio, with his wife and two sons.

Tim is an avid floral tie supporter.

Tim graduated with honors from Cedarville University in May 2020 with a B.A. in Marketing. He’s enjoyed extensive experience in marketing, as he was the No. 1 Sales Intern during a summer internship with Aflac’s North Territory (spans 11 states) in 2018. He also was a digital marketing and communications intern for a start-up tech company that had multi-million dollars of Series B investments.

Tim also served as the Cedarville University student-run newspaper, Cedars, sports editor for three years and editor-in-chief during his senior year. While there, he and the newspaper itself raked in multiple regional and national awards.

Tim has other experiences under his belt, but he’s most excited to work with current Power Ad sponsors as well as create new relationships with businesses in need of digital marketing assistance.

Tim resides in Springfield by himself, so he would love to talk to you about digital marketing, which gives him something to do.
